On Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 5:51 p.m., The North Bay Police were dispatched to a residence on Hardy Street, following a complaint by a third party of a disturbance where shouting and threats were heard.

Female faces charges following threats

On Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at 5:51 p.m., The North Bay Police were dispatched to a residence on Hardy Street, following a complaint by a third party of a disturbance where shouting and threats were heard. As a result of the investigation, The North Bay Police arrested and charged:

A 26-year-old female, of North Bay, with:
One count assault
One count of utter death threats

It is alleged that the accused head butted her male partner, causing non-life threatening injuries, then she threatened to stab him and kill him if he contacted police.

The accused was released on a promise to appear.

In the interest of protecting the identity of the victims, the North Bay Police Service will not be releasing the name of the accused.
