MAN THREATENS WOMAN On Nov. 6 during the early morning hours a man from out of town called a woman in North Bay, who was known to him, and threatened her. The North Bay Police Service was called and Sgt. Kirk Kelusky and Cst.

On Nov. 6 during the early morning hours a man from out of town called a woman in North Bay, who was known to him, and threatened her. The North Bay Police Service was called and Sgt. Kirk Kelusky and Cst. Merv Shantz attended the man's residence and arrested him. Wayne Brandt, 56, of South Horn Lake Rd. in Burks Falls is charged with criminal
harassment and was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing today.

POLICE SEEKING MAN WITH KNIFE
On Nov. 9 at approximately 1:30 a.m. a man who had just met a woman at a downtown bar suddenly produced a knife and threatened her with it.
This matter was reported to staff and the man was evicted, but the knife was not found until later. The North Bay Police Service attended and are presently seeking a man described as : male white, 5'3 160-170 lbs. a brown buzz cut, clean shaven and was wearing a black leather coat, black jeans, white runners and a red shirt with a Nazi
symbol.


BREAK AND ENTERS
Overnight Nov. 7, thieves entered an insecure apartment building in the 2000 block of Trout Lake Rd. and entered the laundry room. There, they knocked over a washing machine and stole change.

Overnight Nov. 7, thieves entered an insecure apartment building in the 500 block of Laurentian Av. and then entered the laundry room. Here they removed the lid from a dryer and then stole change.

On Nov. 8 it was discovered that thieves had entered the laundry room of an apartment building in the 200 block of Chippewa St. W., and then broke into washing machines.
A suspect is described as Male, 25-30 years
old, with short dark hair and wearing a black/brown jacket.

On Nov. 8, between 2 and 4 p.m., a thief entered a residence in the 300 block of Duke St. W. through an unlocked kitchen door. He then stole a Diamond Back BMX silver bicycle. The owner noticed that a red Cougar 18 pro
tour bicycle had been left in the back yard. This bicycle did not belong to them.

On the Nov. 7, shortly after 6:45 p.m., two young men kicked in the side door of a residence in the 1100 block of Haviland St. They then removed a safe. From there they then kicked in a door to a detached garage and removed
four bicycles. The safe was recovered along with tools, in the Centennial Public School yard. The suspects are described as: a male white, 16 to 17 years old, 5'8 to 5'10, 120 lbs. wearing dark pants &
jacket with a pack sack; a male white, 15-16 years old, shorter than the first suspect, and wearing a black-blue
coat with yellow stripes on the sleeves.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
On Nov. 7 Det. Cst. Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service arrested one male individual in relation to complaints of criminal harassment.

The complaint had been received the day before, from a woman who is known to the suspect. Several incidents are alleged to have occurred within the past several weeks.
Chris Brownlee, 41, of no fixed address, is charged with criminal harassment and 2 counts of Breach of Undertaking. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing today.
