An investigation lead by the North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police led to a traffic stop of a vehicle on March 20, 2018 has led to arrest of its occupant Mark Harrison.

The following is a news release from North Bay Police:

Drug investigation results in arrest and seizure

Mark Harrison, age 32, of Corbeil Ontario is charged with:

One count of trafficking cocaine
One count of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
One count of possession of property obtained by crime.
Two counts of possession of a Controlled Drug and Substance (methamphetamine / marihuana)

An investigation lead by the North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police led to a traffic stop of a vehicle on March 20, 2018 has led to arrest of its occupant Mark Harrison.

Subsequent search of the vehicle and a residence resulted in the seizure of 500 grams of cocaine (½ Kilogram) with a street value estimated at $50,000.

Also seized was a quantity of methamphetamine / marihuana and $2600 in Canadian currency. The vehicle used to transport the drugs, a BMW sedan, was also seized by police.

Mark Harrison was released by North Bay Police and will make his first appearance in a North Bay Court on May 1, 2018.
