On March 11 during daylight hours thieves forced their way into a home in the 200 block of Hearst Street.

They stole numerous pieces of jewellery, including a gold man’s wedding ring with offset diamonds as well as a woman’s gold wedding ring with three inlet diamonds on three hockey stick-like settings. These had a value of over $5000. They also stole electronic games and liquor.

The next day thieves once again broke into the residence during daylight hours thieves broke into the residence. This time they stole some change and a gold horseshoe ring.

During this time a black four-door Honda Civic with four male occupants were seen in the neighbourhood.



THEFTS
During the March 5 to 8 weekend someone entered a classroom at West Ferris Secondary School and stole a Compaq “Evo” Pentium 111 laptop computer worth $2000.

During evening courses on March 3 someone entered a classroom at Widdifield Secondary School and stole a Dell Pentium 111 laptop computer worth $3500.

Approximately one month before there had been a theft of an autographed football jersey from this location.
