On January 24, 2018 a break and enter was reported to the North Bay Police Service which had occurred overnight. Alcohol, Masonic jewelry and cash was stolen.

Break and enter

Public assistance in identifying suspects who broke into a business in the 100 Block First Avenue West, North Bay. On Jan. 24, 2018 a break and enter was reported to the North Bay Police Service which had occurred overnight. Alcohol, Masonic jewelry and cash was stolen.

Suspects are described as:
Female wearing winter clothing, including snow pants, carrying an “Under Armour” back pack.
First male: large build, beard with tattoo or birth mark below and to the side of left eye, longer hair on top shorter to sides in hipster type style, wearing a Canada body warmer.
Second male average size and build, kept face covered.

Two drivers charge with handheld device

Police issued two motorist yesterday with Provincial Offence Tickets for driving with a hand held communication device with a fine of $490.

Reminder that it is an offence under the Ontario Traffic Act to drive with a hand held communication device for the safety of both driver and the general public.
