On July 30, at 8:40 p.m., Nipissing West OPP investigated a report of a person walking with an edged weapon on Nipissing Street in Sturgeon Falls.
No one had been injured with the weapon say police.
As a result of the investigation, Taylor Blais, 33, from West Nipissing, was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon,
Blais was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on September 1 in West Nipissing.
