Known for our variety of craft beers and quality food, the Raven and Republic has quickly become one of the premier pubs in Northern Ontario. We’re your neighbourhood restaurant and pub, located downtown, in the heart of North Bay. Designed around a turn-of-the-20th-century home, the Raven and Republic is an inviting space – perfect for refreshing ale and compelling conversation. Rounded out with weekly entertainment and two outdoor patios, it’s no wonder we are one of North Bay’s hottest destinations.
The Raven and Republic also features a gorgeous, private bar on the second floor (affectionately called the Raven’s Nest by the staff) which is ideal for group bookings; perfect for business meetings/seminars, cocktail parties, wedding rehearsal dinners, birthday-anniversary parties, and more.
The building has also undertaken extensive renovations to help create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Among the changes to the existing building, we have made extensive use of reclaimed wood products. The stairs and second storey flooring are reclaimed barn-board hemlock, and our custom artisan front door (painstakingly created by local artist Sean Ledoux) is made from reclaimed Great Lakes timbres.
The Raven and Republic is pleased to serve the North Bay community.
