Trudeau said there is much work to be done here in Canada

In today's press conference, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was pressed by reporters multiple times about his 'prolonged silence' after a question about Donald Trump's actions during the George Floyd protest riots in the U.S. during yesterday's question and answer period.

Trudeau said it is his job is to stand up for Canadians interests.

During the livestreamed conference, he said his government has done much hand in hand with the Black community but recognizes there is much more to do here in Canada.
