$50K reward offered for unsolved murder case

OPP is offering cash reward in lieu of information into Sheri-Lynn McEwan's murder.

In a bid to solve a five-year-old murder case of Estaire native Sheri-Lynn McEwan, the Government of Ontario is offering a $50,000 reward. 

The reward will be given for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Sheri-Lynn's death. 

On Oct. 7, 2013, the 40-year old nurse was found severely injured at her residence in Estaire and later succumbed to her injuries. 

A few days later on Oct. 27, McEwan husband, Terry Boyle, was also found dead in the same home, although police did not suspect foul play in his death.

Members from the Sudbury Detachment of (OPP), in conjunction with OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, continue to pursue the McEwan's case as a homicide. 

However, despite repeated efforts, no arrests have been made.
