The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE), in a news release, confirms the slate of 2022-2026 trustees.
All nominees were elected by acclamation.
They are:
North Bay : Beau Bédard and one seat still vacant
Hearst : Lucie Paquin
Kapuskasing : Michel Séguin
Cochrane : Clara McKinnon
Iroquois Falls : Jeannette Labrèche
Timmins : Nicole Arcand et Liliane Francis
Temiskaming Shores : David Bernotas
Nipissing Ouest : Michel Faucon et Denis Labelle
Parry Sound : Bruce Cazabon
Also, CSPNE will still have to fill one position for the North Bay area.
The first meeting of the new school board is scheduled for November 18 in New Liskeard.
The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario, also known as Ontario District School Board #56, manages the French-language schools in the north-east region of Ontario.
The area in which this school board operates covers 46,714 km² of Ontario.
