BayToday.ca is one of Village Media’s community-based news sites. The position of Account Executive, Sales, has just opened up in this thriving community and news agency.
“We are looking for an experienced digital media account executive to join our expanding footprint across the North Bay region,” explained a Village Media spokesperson. “The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is passionate about helping to connect businesses with our large local audience.”
The account executive is entrusted to develop and maintain beneficial relationships with local businesses, agencies or individuals and work with them to reach their target audience through various advertising channels and services.
The account executive would be responsible for the following, among other tasks:
- Develop and manage revenue-producing relationships with clients and agencies.
- Prospect for new business.
- Analyze client marketing goals and develop needs-based solutions to achieve them.
- Manage the schedule of campaign deliverables.
Successful candidates will have a proven track record in sales, experience in media sales, account management or buying experience, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Some travel may be necessary, therefore a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and a good driving record are required. The successful candidate must live in or near Sudbury, Ontario.
