Josh Dean had four runs batted in and Bill Reid and Jordan Perry each homered as the Astorville Lumber Kings dumped Assante 13-6 in United Rentals Playoff action on Wednesday night.
Ken Pagan got the win on the mound for the Lumber Kings and chipped in with three hits to help his cause.
Chris Laitanen and Roch Langevin each had three hits for Assante.
In the other playoff game on Wednesday, H.E. Brown defeated Cecil's Eatery 15-2.
The playoffs continu on Sunday at Veteran's Field as the Sturgeon Falls Builders meet the Astorville Lumber Kings while the Carte Blanche Rotarians hook up with H.E. Brown Supply. Then on Monday night, Cecil's Eatery will clash with Assante.
