Penno places 9th in Canada in 200 Butterfly

Thunderbird swimmer Bryanna Penno finished in the top 10 at one of the largest swimming competitions in the country recently in Montreal.
Thunderbird swimmer Bryanna Penno finished in the top 10 at one of the largest swimming competitions in the country recently in Montreal.

Penno finished in 9th place in the 14-year-old category in the 200 Butterfly at the Age Group Nationals at the event involving 1200 swimmers back on July 19 to 23rd. In total, she competed in the 50,100, and 200 Breastroke along with the 100 and 200 Butterfly.

Coach Simard was extremely impressed with Penno's results at this meet and her performance throughout the year. She also qualified for the Eastern Nationals and Senior Provincials.
