The Franco Cite Patriotes picked a great time to find the win column as they upset the second place West Ferris Trojans 3-2 in NDA Jr. Boys quarter-final playoff action on Friday.
The Pats finished the year with no wins, two losses and four ties during the regular season before winning their first game of the season in their playoff debut. Roch Pellerin, Daniel Perrin and Jean-Philippe Primeau scored for the Pats while Robert Tiller and Trent Robinson replied for the Trojans.
The Pats will meet the unbeaten St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears in the NDA Jr. Boys semi-finals.
