Bears win in shootout

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears dominated in the shootout as they broke a 1-1 tie with three goals in the shootout as they went on to defeat the Widdifield Wildcats 4-1 in NDA Varsity girls semi-final play.

Holly Barker scored twice for the Bears, while Taylor Davis and Annie Bedard added singles.

Bears keeper McKenzie Quevillon was named the player of the game.

Kelly Chamberlain scored the lone goal in regulation for the Wildcats.

Raiders continue to roll

The Chippewa Raiders made it 9 games straight without allowing a goal against as they blanked the Franco-Cite Patriotes 4-0 in the other NDA Varsity Girls semi-final.

That sets up an NDA final between the Bears and the Raiders which will take place at Chippewa at 4:15 p.m. on Friday, May 25th.
