(Retired owner/operator of Whittaker's Garage and Keith's Buses) - It is with great sorrow that the family of Keith Whittaker announce his death on Monday, December 18, 2006, in his 76th year at North Bay General Hospital. Keith died with family by his side after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late E.Elaine (Storie) Whittaker. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Judy (Don Giroux) of South River, and their children David, Sarah, John-Paul and the late Christopher, Rob (Cathy Burns) and his children Leah and Jessica, Cheryl (Peter Purdon) and their children Lesley and Michael, Joanne (Ron Mathias) and their children Kelsey and Kimberly, and Patti (Alex Csirik) and their children Holly, Adam, J.J. and Hannah. Keith was the dear brother of Jim and Betty Whittaker of Dartmouth, N.S., Lloyd and Fay Whittaker, and Mary and Bob Heasman of Powassan and predeceased by his parents Les & Mabel Whittaker. He was the dear brother-in-law of Hazel Lowery (Fred) of Newcastle, Erma Sauve of North Bay, Noreen Bowman (Albert) of Nipissing, Rita Storie of North Bay, Verna Storie of Powassan and predeceased by in-laws Edith Neil, Elva McFadden, Ivan, Earl, Garnet and Mervyn Storie. He will also be sadly missed by dear friend and neighbour Joyce Croteau and her family.



The family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME in Powassan (705- 724-2024) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 am. The funeral will be held in St. Mary's Anglican Church, Powassan on Thursday at 11 am. Interment Powassan Union Cemetery.
