SULLIVAN, Kenney John - 1950 - 2007

It is with profound sadness that the family of Kenney (Sully) Sullivan announces his passing into the arms of our Lord on the 6th of April 2007 at the North Bay General Hospital. Kenney leaves behind his three children whom he adored, Kendal Megan Jane (13) Cody John James (11), Tayler Morgan Lynn (10), and stepson Tyler Alfred Wilfred Rousseau (20) who reside with their mother, Cory Sullivan. Predeceasing Kenney are his father Alvin Kenney Sullivan (1985) and sister Heather Ann Owen Mooney (2003). He is survived by his mother Doris ("Mother") Sullivan, siblings Helen (Robert Burns) of Markham, Lynn (Mark Sharkey) of North Bay and Doug (Ramona) of Huntsville; as well as, his brothers-in-law Dick Owen and Bruce Mooney of North Bay. His 13 nieces, 6 nephews, 12 great nieces, 19 great nephews, 2 great great nieces and 3 great great nephews will also sadly miss him.

Kenney went to Trout Mills Public School and then to Widdifield High School were he played hockey and football. He also played football for the North Bay Ti-Cats and was a proud supporter of the North Bay Bulldogs. Kenney owned and operated Ken Sullivan construction in North Bay for many years.

The family wishes to thank Doctors Jim Chirico and Tanya Shulman, and all the Nursing Staff of the third floor CCU and Palliative Care of the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard site. Their care and patience with Kenney and his family was greatly appreciated.

There will be a memorial service for Kenney on the 5th of May 2007 at 2 o'clock pm at the Wesleyan Methodist Church on McKay Street in North Bay; reception to follow at Katie’s Leader Board, 2650 Trout Lake Road.
