Peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Wednesday December 6th 2006 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by her first husband Albert Cangiano in 1963 and her 2nd husband Bill Sloat in 2005, her parents William and Kathleen Everitt and a brother Ken Everitt. Loving mother of Cheryl (Mike Cappadocia), Terry (Anne predeceased) Cangiano, Wanda (Dan Hicks), Rick (Fran) Cangiano, Brian (Pauline) Sloat and Doug Sloat. She will be fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Dear sister of Keith Everitt (Thelma).



Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Sunday December 10th from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. Funeral service Monday December 11th at the funeral home at 1 pm. Interment St Mary's Cemetery. Donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, ON in memory of Gwen will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
