LENNOX, Annette (nee Vallieres)

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Annette Lennox on Monday, October 20th, 2003, at the Ottawa General Hospital, at the age of 56 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Annette was well-known and respected by her colleagues at the Conseil Scolaire Catholique Franco-Nord. She had many passions, including travelling and theatre. Her bright smile, kindness, and thoughtfulness will be missed by her loving family and many good friends. She was a tower of strength and a great inspiration that will live on through her children. Annette was the beloved wife of Gary Lennox, predeceased in 1994. Cherished daughter of Alice and Leonard Vallieres. Loving mother of son Shawn and his wife Laura of Ottawa and of daughter Tammy and her husband Jeff of Sudbury. Dear sister of Gaetan (Marjorie), Carmelle (Réal), and Michel, all from Gatineau, and Lynne (Mike). Cherished sister at heart to Denise (Raymond) of Hearst. Loved daughter-in-law of Betty Lennox. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Sadly missed by brother-in-law Don Lennox (Lynn) and sister-in-law Joan Stark. Friends may call at the McGuinty Funeral Home, 591 Cassells Street, North Bay, on Thursday, October 23, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St. Vincent-de-Paul Church Friday at 10:15 am. Cremation with interment of Ashes at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
