GARBUTT, Dorothy Louise “Dot“

Dot (Graff) died peacefully at North Bay General Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2006 in her 78th year after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Garbutt of Callander, and the loving mother of Ruth Blum (Rick) of Astorville, Bob Garbutt (Anne) of Huntsville, Dawn Ringler (Steve) of Barrie, and Dan Garbutt (Loreen) of Edmonton, Alberta. She was the much loved grandmother of Gayle, Robin, Thomas, Caroline, Allison, Luke, Jordan and great-grandson Mitchell. Dot is survived by her sister Alice Maxwell of Eau Claire and her brother Lloyd Graff of North Bay. She was predeceased by 14 brothers and sisters.



Family will receive relatives and friends at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow with interment of ashes in the Callander Union Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
