DUROCHER, Loretta Laurette (née Veillette)

The family announces with sorrow her death at Au Château, Home for the Aged, Sturgeon Falls, on Friday, March 23, 2007 at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late Joseph G. and of the late Léa (née Frechette) Veillette. Wife of the late Paul D. Durocher. Beloved mother of Claude (Gisèle) and Lise Durocher- Hayward both of Sturgeon Falls and Claire Seguin of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by six grandchildren, Luc, Ginette, Christine, Claire, Helen and Russell and five great-grandchildren, Justin, Shaynee, Jacob, Liah and Aaron. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Eddy, Léo, Paul, Fernand, Roméo, Mignonne, Fleurette, Dora and Lillianne. Loretta was a former member of the A.L.E.C. Center, Club Amicale of North Bay and La Fédération des Ainés Francophones de l'Ontario.


The family will receive relatives and friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacré Cur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 11 am. In memory of Loretta, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life would be appreciated.
