It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Dennis Campbell at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on October 21, 2020 at the age of 74 years after a 2 year battle with cancer. Dennis was the loving husband of Tawny Campbell for 23 years. Predeceased by his parents, Harriet and Bill Campbell, and survived by his sister, Carol. Dennis is survived by and loving father to his 4 children Bill, Tom (Gabrielle), Tammy, and Robert, his 6 grandchildren Kay-Lynne (Randy), Christopher, Kyle (Monica), Claire, Andrew, and Grant, and his 3 great-grandchildren Kowen, Karsen, and Kahlie. Dennis was a kind-hearted man who truly gave the best of himself to all who surrounded him, and filled every room he entered with lots of joy and laughter. His wife and great-grandchildren were the light of his life and he will be missed deeply by the many lives he touched in his short but meaningful 74 years.

“God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So, He put his arms around him and whispered, “Come with me.” With tear-filled eyes I watched him suffer and watched him fade away. Although I loved him dearly, I could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands to rest; God broke my heart to prove to me He only takes the best.”

Rest in peace now babe, pops, dad, papa – we were blessed to have had such a wonderful soul grace our lives each and every day that you were here and your memory will forever live on through each life you’ve touched. “Go rest high on that mountain, because your work on earth is done.”
