Peacefully surrounded by her family at the North Bay General Hospital, North Bay, on Saturday, December 16, 2006, Sandra Lee “Sandy“ Broersma, age 44, of North Bay and formerly of Chatham, loving wife of Brian Broersma. Born in Chatham in1962, daughter of Margaret (Oulds) and Leon Poppe of Chatham. Sandy was a volunteer for the Cancer Society. Cherished mother of Brian “Cory“ Broersma Jr. and Michelle Margaret Broersma both at home. Dear sister of Deborah St. Pierre and her husband Tim of Chatham. Also sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and by her parents-in-law Peiter and Aly Broersma of Chatham. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Chapel Service will be conducted in the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 11:00 am with Rev. Susan Jolley officiating. Burial will take place in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
