The Community Policing Assistant positions will be available in 2024 for the OPP in the northeast region, located in North Bay, Blind River, Cache Bay, and Timmins. 

To be eligible to participate in the Summer Employment Opportunities Program, students must be:

  • currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution or graduated no earlier than December 2023.
  • at least 15 years old (must meet age requirements by the first day of employment).
  • living in Ontario during their summer placement.
  • legally entitled to work in Canada.
