REALTORS Association raises $20,772 to support several organizations

The annual tournament, which began in 2003, has raised over $200,000 in support of local organizations.

On behalf of it’s 165 REALTORS® the North Bay and Area REALTORS® Association is proud to announce the success of the 2023 Charity Golf Tournament which raised $20,772.51

The North Bay and Area REALTORS Association is calling its 2023 Charity Golf Tournament a success.

The event raised $20,772 to support several organizations dedicated to making a positive impact in our local area.

The funds raised in 2023 were distributed before the Association’s general meeting on Thursday, December 7 to several organizations including:

Amelia Rising - Sexual Violence Support Centre,  The Bonfield/Rutherglen Foodbank, Boots on the Ground, Callander Christmas Cheer, Callander Foodbank,  Hope Awaits Ministries, The Gathering Place,  L.I.P.I. (Low Income Peoples Involvement), The Mattawa Foodbank, Mattawa Women’s Resource Centre, NADY (Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth), The Nipissing Serenity Hospice, The Nipissing Transition House, The North Bay Foodbank, The North Bay Regional Hospital Foundation – NICU/Pediatrics,  The North Bay Santa Fund, Ojibway Women’s Lodge, One Kids Place, OUTLoud North Bay, PADDLE (Providing Adults with Developmental Disabilities Lifelong Experiences), The Powassan Food Bank, The Rotary Club of North Bay Nipissing - Rotary Playground, The Salvation Army Kettle Campaign, The Temagami Lions Club Foodbank, Victim Services of Nipissing District, and The West Nipissing Foodbank.

"Each organization plays a crucial role in addressing important issues in their community and creating a brighter future for those in need of their services," says a news release.

The annual tournament, which began in 2003, has raised over $200,000 in support of local organizations. 

Andre Purcell, the Association’s 2023 President, said “The tournament’s continued success wouldn’t be possible without the support of our members, the participants, the generosity of donors, and the selfless commitment of the organizers and volunteers who make it happen.  We are incredibly grateful for all of your contributions."
