Police report $3,000 theft of archery equipment

Sometime between mid-February and the evening of October 11, thieves stole two crossbows in travel cases along with three illuminated arrow nocks

On October 12, Nipissing West OPP responded to a theft from a shed located on a property on Russell Street in Sturgeon Falls.

Investigation revealed, sometime between mid-February and the evening of October 11, thieves stole two crossbows in travel cases along with three illuminated arrow nocks. 

The stolen property is described as follows:

  • Excalibur Matrix 380 Crossbow, camouflage colour
  • Excalibur Matrix Mega 405 Crossbow, camouflage colour
  • Excalibur Matrix travel case, black in colour
  • Oversize crossbow travel case, olive green in colour
  • Excalibur Lumenok (illuminated nocks)

The value of the stolen property is estimated to be approximately $3,000.
