Police normally wouldn't be suspicious of a car being driven with a window down...but during a snowstorm, well that certainly draws attention.

On April 2, the East Algoma OPP were on regular patrol duties in the Town of Blind River.

At 4:07 p.m., police saw a westbound vehicle on with its window down during a snow storm.

A traffic stop was initiated.  An open container of alcohol was found in the vehicle.

Dale Thompson, 57 years of age, from Spanish, was issued a provincial offence notice and charged with: Having Liquor in Open Container other than in Licenced Premises, residence or private place.
