Mississauga man faces drug charges

Police seized 100 grams of crack cocaine, with a street valued estimated at $15,000

On Wednesday evening, following an ongoing Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation and a traffic stop conducted at the bypass of Hwy 11 and Hwy 17, officers with the North Bay Police Service’s Street Crime unit arrested and charged:

Kyle McDonald, age 28 of Mississauga, Ontario, with:

  • one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine; and
  • one count of possession of morphine.

Police seized 100 grams of crack cocaine, with a street valued estimated at $15,000. A small quantity of morphine was also seized.

McDonald was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
