Applications for The Summer Company Program are now available.

Successful applicants receive financial support of $1,500 towards their business start-up and access to business training and mentorship to assist in successfully running a business. Upon completing the program, participants receive an additional financial grant of up to $1,500.

“The Summer Company Program empowers youth to become their own boss and guides them in understanding the intricacies of entrepreneurship,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “Learning how to run your own business is one of the best summer jobs a student can have."

The program allows participants to be their own boss while learning to manage a business. Sales, marketing, bookkeeping, customer relationship management and networking are just a few of the highly useful skills that can be developed.

People between 15 and 29 years old can start and run their own summer business. The general program deadline for applications is May 17.
