Three local arts groups are receiving a total of $34,500 awarded through the Ontario Arts Council, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.
Project grants include:
- $15,000 for Les Compagnons des francs loisirs through the aide à la diffusion artistique-projets program toward celebrating 53 years of Francophone culture in North Bay.
- $15,000 for Hidden Roots Collective through the Northern Arts program toward recording and releasing their debut full-length album.
- $4,500 for the Capitol Centre through the Theatre Connects program toward its participation in the audience development pilot project.
“These organizations are vital to the vibrant arts and culture community in Nipissing. My congratulations and thanks go out to them,” said Fedeli.
