VIDEO: Surprise random act of kindness for generous local kids

Thor and Faith are two youngsters in North Bay who are passionate about giving back to their community. BayToday rewards their selflessness with a random act of kindness

BayToday is thrilled to re-launch Random Acts of Kindness.

The Random Act of Kindness program was designed to celebrate and encourage people to come together in our community, help break barriers, brighten someone’s day, make a wish come true, or lend a helping hand to someone deserving.

At just six and nine years old, Thor and Faith already have a firm grasp on how to give back to their community. The area kids have spearheaded many community-minded initiatives, including bottle drives to fundraise for local food banks, and donating toys to those less fortunate. BayToday wanted to repay their community kindness by giving them a random act of kindness of their own.

A big thank you to over very generous sponsors who are able to make this program so successful. Today's Random Act of Kindness is sponsored by: Canadian Tire, North Bay.

Members of the community are invited to nominate someone that they believe deserves to be recognized or have their day brightened, whether it be because they are an exceptional community member who gives generously to those around them, or because they’ve faced extreme hardships and overcome difficult obstacles.
