A 30-year-old man who is already facing harassment and indecent act charges from an incident in downtown North Bay on July 24 is now facing sexual assault and indecent act charges stemming from an incident at the North Bay waterfront on Monday afternoon.

On Monday North Bay Police responded to a report of a man exposing himself at a waterfront area in North Bay.

It is alleged that in the afternoon of July 27, the accused attended a beach area on the North Bay waterfront.

Police say the man then started talking to a pair of young females.

"During the exchange the accused made comments and kissed one victim on the neck and touched her inappropriately on the buttocks," John Schultz, Special Constable, Community Safety Coordinator with the North Bay Police Service.

Police say the girls ran from the area and police were contacted through the parents.

"The accused continued to another area on the waterfront where he exposed himself to a group of adults. He then walked to a treed area near the adults where he began masturbating," said Schultz.

The accused was later located nearby where he was subsequently arrested by police.
