A new Korean-style restaurant will open this week on the north end of North Bay.

Gangnam Korea restaurant will have an official opening on Thursday, December 21 at a location on Champlain Street next to Taco Bell.

The owners, who have been operating Gangnam Korea in Huntsville, claim they offer the best Korean fried chicken, DupBap, Mozza-Dog and Bubble Tea in the region.

"A fusion of Korean street food with Canadian soul food and the result is a culinary festival of fresh flavours in your mouth," the Gangnam Korea website stated.

"That’s Gangnam Korea!"

Owner Sunju Lee always dreamt of opening a Korean restaurant in Huntsville, as she was inspired to introduce Korean food and culture to the residents of Muskoka. Now she is hoping to do the same a little farther north in North Bay.
