In January 2011, Canadore College expects to welcome 190 new first-year students in its programs for the Winter term. This growth represents a 36 per cent enrolment increase in addition to the upward trend in registrations the College experienced for its Fall 2010 term.

"Canadore believes in student success. We are dedicated to offering quality programs supported by equally strong services to promote an environment of student-centered success," said George Burton, President of Canadore College. "Every day we draw on staff and faculty excellence, community connections and sustainable and innovative practices to deliver the best possible postsecondary education to our students."

For the Fall 2010 term, colleges across Ontario have reported an increase in enrolment of approximately 5.9 per cent over last year as students and employers recognize the benefits of obtaining a college education focused on innovation, practical knowledge, and technical skills.

Limited registration is still available in certain program areas within the Schools of Business, Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts, Recreation and Leisure Services, Preparatory Studies, and Skilled Trades.
