Drouin leads Chamber for a second year

'Our outgoing and incoming boards have diverse backgrounds, and all bring their expertise to the table'

Ryan Drouin has been elected the Chair of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for a second term. 

Drouin is the manager of Career Development/Sport and Wellness at Canadore College.

The 2024 North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors was sworn-in to office yesterday evening by Mayor Peter Chirico. 

“Thank you to my peers around the board table for having the confidence and electing me to continue as Chair of the NBDCC Board of Directors in 2024,” said Drouin.  “I thoroughly enjoy working with this board and the staff in learning about the local issues, and celebrating the success of business in our community, and look forward to continuing to amplify the voice of the business community to foster growth within our district.”

Joining Drouin is joined on the new Executive by:

  • 1st Vice Chair Jim Bruce – Average Joe’s Eatery and La Huerta Imports
  • 2nd Vice Chair Liam Bowman – Cooper Equipment Rentals
  • Treasurer Melanie Rivard – Caisse Alliance

Other board members for 2024 include:

  • Joey Roussy – Cogeco YourTV North Bay

Departing board members include Natasha Penn and LeeAnne Maille.
