A scary afternoon for a North Bay delivery man.
The North Bay Fire Department was called recently to McIntyre Street where a delivery truck had caught fire near the parking garage on the one-way downtown street.
One witness says the driver pulled over after smoke was coming out the front of his truck and tried to extinguish it with an extinguisher.
The North Bay Fire Department responded and had the vehicle fire extinguished just before 3 p.m.
The driver was the only one in the vehicle and no one was injured.
