Alisynn is all smiles after good news from docs

The young North Bay girl has experienced a groundswell of support from the community in the days that followed her emergency airlift to Toronto and surgery 10 days ago

Alisynn Louiseize, her parents and extended family are relieved to learn the tumour Toronto Sick Kids doctors removed from the four-year-old's brain last week was benign.

Mother Kayleigh tells BayToday Alisynn's progress has allowed her rehabilitation period to be shortened to four to six weeks. Alisynn has been able to resume walking in the hallways at Sick Kids — a welcome development after some uncertainty about her mobility following the removal of the tumour — and will be moved to Holland Bloorview, Monday.

The young North Bay girl has experienced a groundswell of support from the community in the days that followed her emergency airlift to Toronto and surgery 10 days ago. Both parents — Kayleigh and father Jonathan Rowe-Raymond — have spent hours at Alisynn's bedside throughout the ordeal and the family has accepted the use of a condo in Toronto from a member of the community.
