Trappers play to draw with Wolves

The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers and Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves skated to a 6-6 tie in Great North Midget League exhibition play on Sunday at Pete Palangio arena. Braeden Villeneuve led the Trappers offence with a pair of goals.

The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers and Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves skated to a 6-6 tie in Great North Midget League exhibition play on Sunday at Pete Palangio arena. 

Braeden Villeneuve led the Trappers offence with a pair of goals. 

Nick Raymond, Finn Seguin, Conor Eastaugh, and Brett Shawana each added singles for the Trappers.

The Trappers fell behind by three only to mount a late third period comeback to even the score.  

Trappers goaltenders Drew Joyal and Simon Wood shared the goaltending duties. 

Jacob Burton led the Wolves with two goals. 

The Trappers will finish the back end of the home and home with a visit to Sudbury to face the Nickel Capital Wolves.  Game time is set for 8 pm at the Countryside arena.
