The BDI Minor Peewee AAA Trappers split a pair of games with the North Central Predators at the Canada Summit Center in Huntsville on Saturday.
In game one the Predators capitalized on two power play opportunities enroute to a 4-2 win.
Jim Montgomery and Chase Lefebvre handled the scoring for the Trappers who also got solid goaltending from Caelan McAuliffe despite the loss.
The Trappers rebounded in game two and took control of the game early with a total team effort in both ends of the rink defeating the Predators 6-1.
Brett Richardson and Evan Muir led the offensive attack with two goals a piece while Dallas Landriault and Chase Lefebvre had singles. Callum Craft also hit the scoresheet with 3 assists for the Trappers.
Andrew Robillard was sharp in the Trapper net only to have his shutout bid snapped late in the game.
The Trappers return to exhibition action on Sunday, September 12th in Garson against the Nickel City Sons.
