Vision Volleyball Club coach Danny Gosselin returned home after a month away with another National Championship medal with Team Ontario.
Gosselin, coached the Team Ontario Under-16 boys to gold while Gleason was part of Team Ontario Under-16 girls golden moment, which gave the two locals national gold.
The Provincial team was chosen from the best players throughout Ontario.
These teams compete every July at the National championships held at different locations through Canada.
This year the tournament was held in Edmonton for 16UB and Richmond, B.C. for 16UG.
Ontario had a great showing, winning 3 of the 4 titles up for grabs – Gold for 16UB/16UG/18UB and silver 18UG.
Gleason was also selected to the Junior National development team.
The development program is designed to help team Canada coaches identify potential future National team players.
Danny has been involved in the Provincial team program now for 5 years and has been a part of 3 National Championship teams and 1 Canada Games.
