Battalion forward Bratina nets NHL Camp invite

Battalion forward Zach Bratina is getting a taste of the Big Apple this week as the 19-year-old Lindsay, Ontario product received a free agent invite to the New York Rangers annual prospect development camp which takes places at Madison Square Garden

Battalion forward Zach Bratina is getting a taste of the Big Apple this week as the 19-year-old Lindsay, Ontario product received a free agent invite to the New York Rangers annual prospect development camp which takes places at Madison Square Garden from June 29th to Friday, July 3rd. 

Monday and Tuesday will consist of on and off-ice testing with scrimmages to take place Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  

Bratina is among 36 players who received an invitation which includes a number of the organization’s top prospects. 

The speedy Battalion forward was also invited to the Maple Leafs camp last summer.  

Last season Bratina fought through concussion problems to finish with 7 goals along with 14 assists for 21 points in only 30 regular season games with the Troops.  

Bratina also netted 2 goals and 6 assists in 15 playoff games with the Battalion.
