There are still limited spots remaining in the Nipissing Lakers GIRLS ONLY hockey camp being run later this summer by the Nipissing Lakers Women’s Hockey team under the direction of Head Coach, Darren Turcotte.
The camp runs from August 24-28 between the hours of 9:00am and noon at Pete Palangio Arenas.
Players will participate in 1 ½ hours of on-ice activities as well as 1 ½ hours of off-ice activities.
“This camp allows the younger players of the North Bay and District Girls Hockey Association to develop a bond with some high quality female role models," stated coach Darren Turcotte.
"As in years past we expect friendships to be made between the Lakers and the participants at the camp. It is exciting to see the younger players at our home games watching their 'coaches' play."
The cost for the camp is $225.00 and this year the Lakers are offering a discounted rate of $150.00 to any player that participated in the Pre-Novice division last year or any new players to that program for 2015-16.
