The North Bay Y Titans Swim Team hosted their Annual NBYT Invitational Meet at the YMCA pool February 20 to 22, 2015. This meet was both a Sprint and Ironman meet.
It was an impressive weekend for the home team which took home the high point award for a large team.
Titans posting personal best times at the meet are: Emma Cook, Melody Farrell, Maggie Fedeli, William Fraser, Zoe Gagne, Jack Hachkowski, Julie Jonescu, Sarah Lepkan, Emma Lodge, Sheila MacDougall, Rayna MacDuff, Lexie Mitchell, Tia Mitchell, Madison Piper, Madilyn Reaume, Carleigh Roy, Riley Roy, Katie Sefton, Drew Stephenson, Fionna Truong, Alexis Viczian, Katelyn Warner and Emily Yates.
Titans who placed first in at least one event are: Leah Dawson, Sheldon Kilroy, Grace Liritzis, Brody Marietti, Austin McLaren-Stewart, Jillian O’Donnell, Nikita Ouellette, Emma Ringuette, Julia Rivet, Ayden Ryk, Quinn Schroeder, Megan Tom, Ryan Tom, Katie Tripp and Jorn Van Leemput.
Second place finishes by Titans in at least one event: Joshua Gough, Evan Kilroy, William Mitchell, Tess Plamondon, Chloe Popp, Karly Saile, Jenny Tripp and Ethan Yates.
Third place finishes in at least one event: Xander Barret and Emily Bolan.
High Point Winners for Iron Man were Quinn Schroeder, Ayden Ryk and Emma Ringuette.
High Point Sprint winners were Ryan Tom, Grace Liritzis, Leah Dawson, Megan Tom and Austin McLaren-Stewart.
Steve Cholette, a senior Titan swimmer, participated in the Eastern Canadian Long Course Championships this past weekend in Quebec City.
