The North Bay Battalion, fresh off an impressive 5-1 win over the Mississauga Steelheads Wednesday, will take on the red hot Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the Lock City Friday night.

The Hounds sport a 9-1 record in their past 10 to sit on top of the Western Conference Standings with a 35-9-0-2 record.

While the Battalion added forwards Ryan Kujawinski and Nick Moutrey at the deadline, the Hounds nabbed Team Canada power forward Nick Ritchie from Peterborough, Justin Bailey from Kitchener and Team USA World Junior defenceman Anthony DeAngelo from Sarnia.

The Battalion hope Friday night marks the return for their new power forward Nick Moutrey, who has only played 2 games with the Troops since coming over in the trade with the Saginaw Spirit.

Moutrey skated for the first time on Tuesday since his injury against the Plymouth Whalers on January 9th.

The Troops (23-12-6-3) will be back on home ice Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. when they take on another red hot team, the Niagara IceDogs who are 8-0-2-0 in ther last 10 games and now sit in 5th spot in the Eastern Conference.
