The North Bay Battalion will be traveling south for a weekend practice in Powassan, the home of their affiliate Junior A team the Powassan Voodoos of the Northern Ontario Junior A Hockey League.

Voodoos President Jim Bruce believes this is a great opportunity for Powassan hockey fans to see the Battalion on their home ice.

"This idea of having the Battalion practice in Powassan was something we envisioned way back in June in our initial team press conference," said Voodoos President Jim Bruce.

"We have 6 Battalion prospects we are trying to develop here in Powassan with the Voodoos, and this Battalion practice is just another indication of the tremendous partnership we have with the OHL club."

The practice will take place at the Powassan Sportsplex from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
