On Saturday, January 17th, the North Bay Ski Racing Club hosted over 80 racers from the Alpine Ontario Northern Ontario Division for day 1 of the Dual-City Slalom Race at Laurentian Ski Hill.
Teams came to North Bay from Sudbury, Elliot Lake, Timmins, and Sault Ste. Marie, and then they all travelled to Sudbury for day 2 of the event at Adanac Ski Hill (hence the name “Dual-City” Slalom).
The race is open for athletes in the under 12 (U12) to the Under 18 (U18) age categories.
Each race consists of two runs, and the times are combined for a final.
The North Bay Ski Racers fared well over the course of two days, and brought home a number of medals from the event.
