The Powassan Voodoos and Mattawa Blackhawks game set for 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd has been postponed.

"The league has postponed the game due to a scheduling issue," said Voodoos President Jim Bruce.

The Blackhawks would have played 4 games in 4 nights concluding the busy hockey week in Powassan.

The Voodoos organization apologizes for this inconvenience. The game will be re-scheduled in Powassan in the New Year.

The Voodoos still have one contest before the Christmas break as they will travel to Kirkland Lake on Friday to take on the Gold Miners.

The Blackhawks travel to Sault Ste. Marie Friday to face the T-Birds, then head to Blind River Saturday to face the last place Beavers before closing out the Christmas break with a 2:00 p.m. matinee in Mattawa as they host the Sudbury Nickel Barons.
