North Bay Midget AAA Trappers defenceman Eric Allair has been named to Team NOHA.

The NOHA finalized the selection after the NOHA North Bay Battalion Development Camp held in North Bay over the weekend.

The roster was selected based on on-ice, off-ice, and game evaluations from both the OHL/OHF/NOHA Under-15 Camp in August, and from the recent NOHA North Bay Battalion Development Camp.

A group of 5 Trappers took part in the weekend event including Allair, Dawson Meacham, Craig Johnson, Conor Eastaugh, and Joe Whittet.

"The North Bay Trappers are very proud of the work that Eric has put in to his year so far We are excited for him to be selected and we know that he will represent himself and the Trappers to the best of his abilities," said Trappers Head Coach Mike Reise.

Last year goaltender Colton Point, defenceman Robert Buckley and forward Thomas Farrell were selected from the Trappers.

Team NOHA will compete at various events throughout the season, such as the OMHA Minor Midget Showcase from December 5 to 7 in Orillia, the Soo Greyhounds Development Weekend from February 20 to 22 in Sault Ste. Marie, and the OHL Cup from March 17 to 23 in Mississauga.

The season will conclude with the OHL Gold Cup in May, which is the first step in Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence, the Program that concludes with the World Junior Championship.
