On Saturday night, the short staffed Trappers who played without minor midgets Craig Johnson, Conor Eastaugh, Dawson Meacham and Eric Allair, as they particpated in the North Bay Battalion NOHA Development Camp, defeated the Majors 7-3 at West Ferris arena.

Jeff Jordan and Devyn Martel once again paced the offence for the Trappers with 2 goals each.

Jacob Delisle, Robert Buckley and Jack Drinkwalter had the other goals for the Trappers.

Head Coach Mike Reise was thrilled with the effort of his squad that played with only 10 players and 2 goaltender on Saturday night.

"We had our 5 minors play right before our game (NOHA Development Camp) in the NOHA Red-White game, That along with playing with 10 guys the night before," said Reise.

"I have to say they all stepped up. Our coaching staff is very proud of the boys in this room."

The 2 victories improve the Trappers record to 7-8-0-1-1 on the season.

The Trappers are back on home ice next Friday, November 28th when they host the Soo Thunderbirds.   Puck drop is set for 7:20 p.m. at West Ferris arena.
