The Nipissing Lakers Varsity Men's Hockey Team is hosting the Brock Badgers Friday night for Domestic Violence Awareness Night at the Gardens.
The Lakers have had a solid first half of the season with a 7-5-1 record, good for 4th spot in the OUA East Division in what was expected to be a rebuilding year. Brock sits in 7th spot in the OUA West with a 4-6-1 record.
Craig Campbell leads the Lakers offence with 6 goals and 7 assists in 12 games so far this season. He sits tied for 27th in league scoring.
The Lakers will conclude the weekend with a Saturday visit from the York Lions. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens.
